Mati Gavriel Releases Timeless and Classic Song “Someone to Somebody” for Tiny Desk Contest 2023 Series

Los Angeles, 16th March 2023 – Independent artist and producer Mati Gavriel has released a new song titled “Someone to Somebody” for the Tiny Desk Contest series 2023. The song features a classical spin on production, utilizing a string quartet and one synth solo instead of samples, 808’s, and software synths. The approach emphasizes the minimum required to transport the feeling and emotion of the piece, making it classic and timeless.

The song explores the theme of relationships between humans, how love is forever changing and evolving, and the aspect of loving and wanting to be loved. With a universal message that can be interpreted in many different ways from different points of view, “Someone to Somebody” was written with Sheppard Solomon, who has previously worked with Enrique Iglesia, One Direction, Natalie Imbruglia, and others.
